Miss Elisa Pieragostini was born on the 9th October 1989, and graduated cum laude in Law at the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome in April 2014. Her thesis, written under the supervision of Professor Daniele Gallo, discussed the international anti-corruption instruments employed by the European Union law. Throughout her university years, she cultivated a strong interest in the field of International and European law, focusing on studies regarding the protection of Human Rights, the bodies of international jurisdiction, and the comparisons between public and private law. Throughout the academic year 2012-13 she spent a semester at the Faculty of Law of the Radboud University of Nijmegen (NL), being granted a scholarship by the Erasmus programme.
She spent her first year of lawyer training treating civil and criminal law, focusing on issues of women and child protection.
She began working with the Lana Lagostena Bassi – Law Firm in April 2015.
She became a member of the Italian Bar on 27th October 2016.
She carries out her profession, both judiciary and non-judiciary, in the field of Family law and compensation for damage, as well as in that of international protection of human rights, drafting appeals to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
